AI and Academic Content Notice
Aboot uses artificial intelligence and other automated systems to create and organize research-related content. This notice explains the limits that matter when you use it.
AI can be wrong
A summary may omit a limitation, confuse correlation and causation, misstate a sample or result, misattribute a claim, simplify disagreement, pronounce a name incorrectly, or fail to reflect a correction or retraction. Metadata and open-access signals can also be wrong or out of date. A natural voice or polished cover does not make the content more reliable.
Always use the original paper, report, dataset, publisher page, and any later corrections as the authoritative source. Verify important claims and citations yourself.
Not professional or academic advice
Aboot is for general information, discovery, and convenient listening. It does not provide medical, clinical, legal, financial, investment, safety, engineering, research-ethics, or other professional advice. It is not a substitute for a supervisor, peer review, informed consent, institutional approval, or independent scholarly judgment.
Do not use a summary alone to make a decision that could affect health, safety, legal rights, finances, education, employment, or public policy.
Your academic responsibilities remain yours
Your school, university, employer, funder, publisher, or professional body may have rules on AI use, attribution, confidentiality, and research integrity. You are responsible for following them. Do not present a Aboot summary as your own scholarship, use it to fabricate evidence or citations, or conceal a use that must be disclosed.
Identifying generated content
Aboot identifies machine-generated summaries and synthetic narration in the service. Generated cover images are illustrative and are not evidence from the source. Approved author narrations are identified separately as human submissions. Recommendations may miss relevant material or return no result.
Where law requires an additional AI-origin label or technical marking, Aboot will provide or preserve it. Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of personal data and service providers involved.
Quality controls do not guarantee accuracy
Aboot applies automated checks and, in selected cases, human review. These controls cannot establish that every statement is true, complete, current, lawful, or appropriate for your purpose.
